Monster has announced the Blaster 3.0, the latest version of its Bluetooth boombox speaker that promises to “turn anywhere into the perfect party spot.”

The new version delivers 120 watts of pure audio power and offers up to 12 hours of playtime with a 5,200 mAh battery, which should be more than enough to keep the music flowing at gatherings – both indoors and outdoors – for a considerable amount of time.
Monster Blaster 3.0 also comes with an Environmental EQ feature with indoor and outdoor modes to adapt itself to its environment for a more balanced listening experience. Solid rubber feet also provide some vibration dampening to minimise distortion.
The third-generation Blaster is also rated at IPX5, making it resilient against splashes and wet weather conditions. The steel speaker mesh is coated with industrial-grade, rust-proof paint, and combined with a polymer exterior, the boombox should be safe to bring around outside.
Connectivity-wise, Blaster 3.0’s 3.5mm AUX input, 3.5mm mic input and Bluetooth capabilities mean users can play music from multiple sources. It also doubles as a USB-A power bank for charging your other devices.
